Payments

What if my payment doesn't appear on my account?

You have made a payment, the money has left your bank, but it is not showing against your Credicorp balance. This is nearly always a matter of timing or a reference mismatch, and it is quick to resolve.

The usual reasons

Most often the payment is simply still clearing — a transfer sent late in the day or over a weekend can take a little longer to settle and apply. See how long a payment takes to clear and what a pending payment means. The next most common cause is a missing or wrong reference, which stops the payment matching to your account automatically.

Getting it traced

  1. Confirm it left your account. Check your bank statement for the debit, the date and the exact amount.
  2. Check the reference you used. Compare it to the reference on your Credicorp statement or offer — see what reference to use.
  3. Contact us with the details. Give support the date, amount and reference and we can trace and apply an unmatched payment quickly. See how to check whether a payment has reached us.

Do not send the payment again on the assumption it failed — that risks paying twice. Trace the first one before making another. See I paid twice by mistake.

Credicorp lends to companies rather than to you personally, so this is business finance outside the consumer-credit regime. That does not change the practical steps below.
