If a detail on your account is wrong, getting it corrected is straightforward — the route just depends on what it is.
By type of detail
- Contact details (email, phone, address) — usually a self-service edit in Account > Company details.
- Legal name or signatory — a verified change, since it affects who can act for the company.
- A figure on a statement — raise a statement query with the date, amount and what’s wrong.
If it’s personal data
You have the right to have inaccurate personal data corrected. Tell us what’s wrong and what it should say; we’ll verify and put it right. Keeping your details accurate isn’t just tidiness — it means verification, correspondence and payments all work smoothly when you need them to.
Whenever a change touches money, access or your company’s data, we verify the request is genuinely from an authorised person before we act. We will never ask you to confirm full security details by email or phone to release information or push through a change — if a message pressures you to do that, treat it as suspicious and contact us to check.
