Payments

How do I pay while I'm travelling or abroad?

Directors travel, and a facility does not pause while you are away. A little planning means your repayments carry on without you needing to do anything from a hotel.

Let the Direct Debit do the work

The whole point of a Direct Debit is that it collects automatically — so if you pay that way, being abroad changes nothing, as long as the collection account is funded. Make sure enough is in the account to cover any collections due while you are away. See keeping enough funds in your account for collection.

If you pay manually

Set up the payments before you go — future-date transfers or use a standing order so they go out on time without you. See scheduling payments in advance and how to set up a standing order. You can also manage the account from your phone through the secure portal wherever you are.

If someone covers for you

If a colleague handles payments while you are away, make sure they are authorised on the account. See who can authorise payment changes and can someone else pay on behalf of the company.

Credicorp lends to companies rather than to you personally, so this is business finance outside the consumer-credit regime. That does not change the practical steps below.
