After you complete and submit a Credicorp loan application, confirming it was received correctly is a quick check that prevents problems later. Here is what to look for.
What happens immediately after you submit
As soon as the application is submitted:
- Your portal displays a confirmation screen with your application reference number.
- A confirmation email is sent to the email address registered to your account. Check your inbox (and spam/junk folder) — it should arrive within five minutes.
- The portal application status changes from In progress or Draft to Under review or Decision pending.
How to check your application status
- Sign in to the portal at clients.credicorp.co.uk/login.
- Look at your account dashboard. If an application is under review, it will appear at the top of your dashboard with its current status.
- If you see a status of Under review, Decision pending, or Approved, your application was received. If you see Draft or In progress, it has not been submitted yet — go back and complete the final step.
What if the status is still "Draft" after submitting?
This occasionally happens if the submission step did not complete correctly — for example, the page timed out, or the signing of the Business Purpose Declaration was not finished. Check the application in the portal and complete any remaining steps. If the application is genuinely stuck in draft and you cannot advance it, contact us via the General Support Enquiry form before starting a new application — we can investigate without you losing your progress.
What to note down for your records
Once you have confirmed submission, note:
- Your application reference number (in the confirmation email and on the portal).
- The date and time of submission.
- Your loan amount and term as shown at submission.
These are useful if you need to follow up, or if there is any query about the application after a decision is made.
How long does a decision take?
Many applications receive a decision within minutes. Some go to a manual review stage, which typically takes up to one business day. If two full business days have passed with no update, contact our team quoting your application reference. See also how quickly will I get a decision.
