Your Credicorp account closes automatically once your final loan or Flex balance is repaid in full and your account shows a zero balance. There is nothing you need to do to initiate closure — but if you want to formally confirm it or remove your account entirely, here are the steps.
Step 1 — Confirm your balance is zero
Sign in to the portal and check that your loan balance shows as £0.00 and there are no scheduled future payments. Your account summary should display "Loan closed" or "No active facility".
Step 2 — Download your final documents
Before requesting full closure, download all documents you may need for your records:
- Your loan agreement(s)
- All monthly statements
- Your settlement confirmation letter (if you repaid early)
- Loan closure / final statement confirmation
These are available in the portal under Loan documents and Statements.
Step 3 — Request data deletion (optional)
If you want your personal and company data removed from our systems, you have a right to request erasure under UK GDPR, subject to our legal obligation to retain certain financial records for up to 6 years. You can submit this request using the Data request form. We will process it within 30 days and let you know what we have deleted and what we are legally required to retain.
Step 4 — Confirm with us (optional)
If you want written confirmation that your account is closed and no further debt is owed, contact us using the General Support Enquiry form and request a formal account closure confirmation. This is useful if your company's lender or solicitor requires it for other transactions.
