Statements

What is the reference number on my statement for?

Every statement shows a reference — usually your facility or account reference. It is the single most important thing to get right when you make a manual payment, because it is how we match your money to your account.

Where it is and what it does

The reference appears on your statement and your offer. Quoting it exactly on a bank transfer means the payment lands against your account automatically rather than sitting unmatched. See what reference to use for a bank transfer.

Why it matters most for manual payments

Direct Debit collections carry the reference automatically, but a transfer you send needs you to add it. A missing or wrong reference is the most common reason a payment does not appear promptly. See when a payment doesn't appear on your account.

If you hold more than one facility

Each facility has its own reference, so use the right one for the account you are paying. See paying two facilities with one payment.

Credicorp lends to companies rather than to you personally, so this is business finance outside the consumer-credit regime. That does not change the practical steps below.
