How do I update my registered company name after changing it at Companies House?

Changing your registered company name is a formal step at Companies House, and once it’s done your Credicorp record should match. Because the name is part of the agreement and how we verify you, this is a checked change rather than a free-text edit.

What we need

  • The new registered name exactly as it appears on the certificate.
  • Your company number — which does not change when the name does.
  • The certificate of incorporation on change of name (or we may confirm it directly from the public register).

How to submit it

Go to Account > Company details and choose Registered name change, or use the company-details update form. We verify against the register and update your agreement references so everything stays consistent. Your company number, facility and balance are unaffected — only the name on the records changes.

Whenever a change touches money, access or your company’s data, we verify the request is genuinely from an authorised person before we act. We will never ask you to confirm full security details by email or phone to release information or push through a change — if a message pressures you to do that, treat it as suspicious and contact us to check.
