How to update your company's registered address or trading address on your account

Keeping your company's address details accurate on your Credicorp account is important for identity verification, correspondence, and compliance. There are two types of address that may need updating: the registered address (as shown at Companies House) and your trading or correspondence address (where you actually receive post).

Why it matters

  • We use your Companies House registered address as part of ongoing identity checks. If it does not match what is on file with us, future credit checks and KYC processes may fail.
  • Correspondence — including letters about payment arrangements, decisions, or complaints — is sent to the address we hold for you.
  • An outdated address can cause direct mail (statements, loan agreements) to go to the wrong place.

Step 1 — Update your address at Companies House first

If your company's registered address has moved, you must update it at Companies House (gov.uk/change-registered-office-address) before or at the same time as updating it with us. We verify addresses against the Companies House register; an address we hold that does not match Companies House may be flagged.

Step 2 — Update your trading or correspondence address

Sign in to the portal at clients.credicorp.co.uk/login and go to Settings → Company details. If you can update the trading address directly, do so there. For the registered address, you may need to submit a support request (see below) so our team can verify it against Companies House.

Step 3 — Contact us if the portal does not allow self-service update

Some address fields are locked and can only be updated by our team following a verification check. Use the General Support Enquiry form and provide:

  • The new address
  • The date it became effective
  • Your Companies House company number (so we can verify)

Timing

Address updates are typically processed within 2 business days. If a direct-mail communication is due imminently, mention this in your request so we can hold the send until the address is updated.
