Being collected twice for the same payment is rare but alarming when it happens — a duplicated Direct Debit, or a manual payment made because you thought the Direct Debit had failed when it had not. It is fully recoverable.
Putting it right
- Confirm it really is a duplicate. Check your bank and your Credicorp statement to be sure two payments for the same amount and period were taken. See how to view your payment history.
- Contact us with the details. Give support both dates, the amount and the reference. See I was charged twice or an incorrect amount.
- Choose refund or credit. We can refund the extra to your business account or leave it reducing your balance — your choice. See how refunds of overpayments work.
The Direct Debit Guarantee
If the duplicate was a Direct Debit error, the Direct Debit Guarantee also entitles you to an immediate refund from your own bank — though contacting us directly is often just as fast and keeps your records clean. See Direct Debit indemnity claims and I paid twice by mistake.
Credicorp lends to companies rather than to you personally, so this is business finance outside the consumer-credit regime. That does not change the practical steps below.
