When the company is owed money back — you overpaid, a payment was duplicated, or a credit remained after settlement — the refund goes back to a company bank account. Here is how it works and what to expect.
Where it goes
Refunds are paid to a verified company bank account, normally the one your payments come from. This keeps the money within the business and avoids any question about where a company refund should land. If that account is closed, we will need alternative company account details — see refund to a closed business account.
How long it takes
Once agreed, a refund is sent by bank transfer and typically reaches your account within a few working days. Timing depends on the banks involved. If you were refunding an overpayment, remember the default is often to leave it reducing the balance instead — see how refunds of overpayments work.
When each type of refund arises
See I paid twice by mistake for duplicates, getting a refund after settlement for a post-settlement credit, and paying the wrong amount for an overpayment.
Credicorp lends to companies rather than to you personally, so this is business finance outside the consumer-credit regime. That does not change the practical steps below.
