Two quick checks: make sure the web address is the genuine Credicorp domain, and that the connection is secure (the padlock and https). Applying only from a link you initiated — rather than one sent to you unexpectedly — closes the main gap scammers rely on.
What to look for
- The address. Sign in at the real client login and start from our own site — type or bookmark it rather than following an unexpected link.
- The padlock. A secure connection shows
httpsand a padlock; the data you send is encrypted in transit. - The behaviour. A genuine page never asks for your banking password directly — the bank step happens on your bank's own site, per do you store my bank login when i connect.
A page that pressures you, asks for a fee to proceed, or wants your password is a warning sign — how do i know a message about my application is really from you. Close it and reach us through contact.
