Setting up a payment you did not mean to — wrong amount, wrong date, duplicated — is easy to do and usually easy to undo if you catch it in time.
Before it leaves your account
A future-dated transfer or a standing order is under your control in your own online banking, so cancel or amend it there before the date. A Direct Debit is different — we collect it — so if you need to stop a collection, contact us before the date and, if needed, you can also instruct your bank. See how to cancel a Direct Debit and still pay.
If it has already gone
If the payment has already reached us in error, it is not lost. An overpayment reduces your balance or can be refunded; a duplicate is refunded. See paying the wrong amount and I paid twice by mistake.
Do not stop a payment that is genuinely due
Cancelling a payment you actually owe simply puts the account behind. If the issue is affordability rather than a mistake, talk to us instead. See if you can't make this month's payment.
Credicorp lends to companies rather than to you personally, so this is business finance outside the consumer-credit regime. That does not change the practical steps below.
