A third party — a prospective lender, a landlord, a grant body — may ask to see your Credicorp statement as evidence of your borrowing. Sharing it safely protects your company’s financial information.
Sharing it well
- Download a fresh PDF for the exact period they need — don’t send more history than the request calls for.
- Send it by a channel you trust, and confirm the recipient’s address is genuinely theirs before you do.
- If only certain figures are needed, share only those — you don’t have to hand over everything.
Proving it’s genuine
Our statements are laid out like a formal financial document precisely so they read as authentic to a third party. If the recipient wants to confirm authenticity, they can ask you to download a fresh copy in their presence, or you can provide it alongside your Key Information Sheet. Never share your login to “show” someone your account — send a document, not access.
Whenever a change touches money, access or your company’s data, we verify the request is genuinely from an authorised person before we act. We will never ask you to confirm full security details by email or phone to release information or push through a change — if a message pressures you to do that, treat it as suspicious and contact us to check.
