If you want to clear your facility ahead of schedule, you need a settlement figure — the exact amount that closes it in full as at a given date. Because interest is simple and only runs while you owe, settling early means you stop paying for time you no longer use.
How to request it
- Go to Account > Facility > Request a settlement figure.
- Choose the date you intend to pay by — the figure is calculated to that date.
- We provide the amount and how long it’s valid for.
Paying it
Pay the exact settlement figure by the date it’s valid to. Pay after that date and a little more interest may have accrued, so if you slip, request a fresh figure. There’s no penalty for settling early with Credicorp — you simply pay what you owe up to the day you clear it, which is the whole point of a fair, transparent facility.
Your facility is priced with simple interest and the figures fixed up front on your Key Information Sheet, so nothing here changes what you owe by surprise — it only changes how you view, manage or evidence it.
