Credicorp only lends directly — we are not a broker. But we appear on comparison websites and work with some referral partners. If a third party gave you misleading or inaccurate information about our products, here is what to do.
Distinguish who is at fault
Your complaint should be directed to the party responsible for the conduct:
- If the problem is with how Credicorp's product works, or with our service after you applied: complain to us using our standard complaints process.
- If a comparison site or broker gave you inaccurate information that caused you to apply: complain to that third party directly. They have their own complaints process and may be regulated by the FCA.
- If you are unsure: contact us and we will help identify where the issue originated.
Complaining to a broker or comparison website
FCA-authorised brokers and comparison sites are required to have a complaints process. Contact the firm in writing, explain the problem, and ask for a final response. If you are not satisfied, you may be able to take the complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service if the firm is FCA-authorised.
Complaining to Credicorp about a referral partner
If you believe a partner we work with has acted improperly and you are unable to resolve it with them, contact us. We take referral partner conduct seriously and will investigate where a partner is connected to us commercially.
