Repaying a facility in full doesn’t have to mean closing your whole account. You can settle and close a single facility while keeping your login, your document history and any other facility you hold.
When this makes sense
- You hold more than one facility and only one is finished.
- You expect to borrow again and want to keep your history and settings.
- You want ongoing access to statements and documents for your records.
How to do it
Once a facility is repaid in full, go to Account > Facility, select it and choose Close this facility. Your login stays active, your documents remain available to download, and nothing else on the account is affected. If instead you want to close the whole account and stop having a login at all, that’s a separate step — see the linked guide.
Most of this is self-service in your customer portal, which is the fastest route and available at any time. Where a change needs our team to verify it, we say so and give a realistic turnaround so you can plan around it.
