The UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires certain organisations to publish an annual transparency statement setting out the steps they take to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in their operations and supply chains.
Our position
Credicorp Limited and CM Beyer Limited are committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place in our business or our supply chains. As a financial services business, our direct operations are primarily technology-based and office-based, which limits our exposure to supply chain labour risks. Nevertheless, we take our obligations seriously.
Our supply chain
Our principal suppliers include technology platform providers, cloud infrastructure companies, data providers, legal and compliance advisers, and professional services firms. We expect all suppliers to comply with applicable laws including modern slavery and human rights legislation, and we include appropriate contractual obligations in our supplier agreements.
Due diligence
We review new supplier relationships as part of our onboarding process, with consideration given to country risk, supply chain complexity, and sector risk. We do not knowingly engage suppliers with known modern slavery concerns.
Training and awareness
Staff involved in procurement and supplier management are made aware of modern slavery risks and indicators. We encourage reporting of any concerns through our internal governance channels.
Continuous improvement
We review and update our approach annually as part of our wider governance and compliance cycle. If you have a concern or query about our modern slavery obligations, contact us at compliance@credicorp.co.uk.
