Closing a Credicorp Flex facility is a two-stage process: repay the outstanding balance in full, then formally request closure. This guide walks through both stages.
Before you close — consider whether closure is right
A Flex facility that has a zero balance costs you nothing (we do not charge an unused facility fee). If there is any possibility you might need to draw on it in the next few months, leaving it open may be simpler than reapplying later. A closed facility cannot be reinstated — you would need a fresh application.
If you are certain you want to close it, proceed with the steps below.
Step 1 — Get the exact settlement amount
- Sign in at clients.credicorp.co.uk/login.
- Go to Your Flex facility → Current balance. The figure shown is your outstanding drawn balance.
- To get the precise settlement figure including any accrued interest not yet collected, use the General Support Enquiry form to request an exact settlement figure, or contact your account manager directly. Paying a rounded estimate may leave a small residual balance.
Step 2 — Repay the full balance
- Make a bank transfer for the exact settlement figure to the Credicorp repayment account shown in your facility agreement. Use your company's account reference as the payment reference.
- Allow one to two business days for the payment to be received and applied to your account.
- Once the balance shows as zero in the portal, proceed to step 3.
Step 3 — Request formal closure
- Once the balance is zero, use the General Support Enquiry form or send a secure portal message to confirm you wish to terminate the Flex facility.
- Clearly state: the facility you want to close (Flex), and that the balance is now zero.
- Our team will process the closure and confirm within two business days.
Step 4 — Confirm closure and cancel the direct debit
- You will receive a written confirmation that the Flex facility has been closed and the balance is cleared. Keep this for your records.
- Once you have received written confirmation, you can cancel the associated direct debit mandate through your bank. Do not cancel the mandate before the balance is confirmed as zero — this may prevent final interest collection and create a residual balance.
What happens to your credit record
Credicorp lends to your company and does not report to consumer credit reference agencies. The closure of your Flex facility does not affect director personal credit records. Your company's commercial credit profile may be updated by business credit reference agencies — closure of a facility with a clean repayment history is generally neutral to positive.
