Payments

How do I change the bank account my payments come from?

If you want your repayments to come out of a different company bank account — a new operating account, or simply a better fit for your cash flow — the Direct Debit needs to be pointed at it. It is a straightforward, authorised change.

Making the change cleanly

  1. Contact us with the new account details. Give support the new sort code and account number through your signed-in account.
  2. We set up the new instruction and confirm the effective date. You will get advance notice of the first collection from the new account under the Direct Debit Guarantee.
  3. Keep the old account able to pay until the switch is confirmed. Do not cancel the old Direct Debit until we have confirmed the next collection comes from the new account.

Only someone authorised on the account can make this change — see who can authorise payment changes. For a full bank switch rather than just the paying account, see how to move your collection account to a new bank.

Credicorp lends to companies rather than to you personally, so this is business finance outside the consumer-credit regime. That does not change the practical steps below.
