If you left an application by accident — closed the tab, lost connection, walked away and it timed out — you have not blown your chance. In most cases you can pick up where you left off by signing back in; and if not, starting fresh is fine and holds nothing against you.
Resume first
Because you can save and finish later, signing back in at the client login usually lets you continue rather than redo everything. A dropped bank connection specifically is covered in what happens if my bank connection drops halfway.
If you cannot resume, a fresh start does not count against you — an abandoned application is not a decline — does withdrawing an application count against me later. Just avoid deliberately submitting many separate applications — does applying more than once hurt my chances.
Check your status
Before redoing anything, check your portal — the application may still be waiting for you. If you are stuck, a person can help you recover it.
Sign back in and continue or restart.
