Yes. The application is designed to work in a mobile browser as well as on a laptop, so you can apply from your phone. The Open Banking connection step can actually be smoother on a phone, because your banking app is right there to approve the read-only connection.
How it works on a phone
You complete the same short form in your phone's browser. When you reach the bank-connection step, you are handed across to your own bank to approve a read-only feed — often via the banking app you already have installed — and then handed back. See what Open Banking is and whether it is safe for exactly what that connection does and does not allow.
You do not need to download anything to apply — it all runs in the browser. On whether a dedicated app exists, see our note on where our mobile app is.
When a bigger screen helps
If you need to review documents, or you are gathering figures across a few sources, some people find a laptop easier for the reading, then use the phone for the bank approval. Either works, and you can pause and pick up later if you switch devices.
To manage everything after you have applied, your signed-in portal is mobile-friendly too. Ready? Start on your phone.
We lend only to UK limited companies and LLPs, the loan is to the company with no director personal guarantee, and this is business finance outside the consumer-credit regime — as an exempt lender under Article 60B of the Regulated Activities Order we sit outside FCA consumer-credit regulation, so the Financial Ombudsman Service and FSCS do not apply.
