Credicorp offers two products — Flex (a revolving credit facility) and Slice (a bill-spreading facility for specific invoices). Here is how multiple product applications and facilities work.
Can I hold Flex and Slice at the same time?
Yes — many Credicorp customers hold both a Flex facility and a Slice facility simultaneously. They are separate products that serve different purposes:
- Flex provides an ongoing credit line you can draw on for any business purpose and repay as cash flow allows.
- Slice is a specific facility for a particular supplier payment or business bill, spread over fixed monthly instalments.
Applying for both at once
If you want to apply for Flex and Slice as a new customer, we typically recommend starting with one product. The application and assessment process is largely shared, but the two products are assessed on different parameters and may result in different decisions.
If you are an existing customer with an established Flex facility and you want to add a Slice for a specific bill, you can do so — Slice applications are considered separately and do not require you to close or change your Flex facility.
How existing facilities affect a new application
When you apply for an additional product, we take your existing Credicorp obligations into account in the affordability assessment. An existing Flex drawn balance, for example, represents existing monthly costs that reduce the available headroom for a new Slice facility repayment.
Can I have multiple Slice facilities running at once?
Slice facilities can be applied for more than once — each covers a specific bill. Whether you can have two Slice facilities running simultaneously depends on your overall exposure level and affordability. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.
